Project Update: Whitehorse Village, Mount Buller

/, Projects/Project Update: Whitehorse Village, Mount Buller

Whitehorse Village phase one, Mount Buller, is almost complete … get ready to fall in love.

Designed by Interlandi Mantesso Architects, Whitehorse Village is a first class chalet and hotel development, with a whole lot of “wow factor”. When complete, each chalet will have three apartments per structure. The hotel will provide boutique style accommodation across 10 uniquely designed suites, with restaurant and cafe facilities.

While this development is still under construction, renders, reports and progress photos make it obvious Whitehorse Village will be a standout project for 2017. The architectural design maximises mountain views, manipulating light and space to best serve the region. Considerate material specification will ensure the development seamlessly compliments its location upon completion. Stone and metal will evoke a natural but modern aesthetic. These materials will also provide alpine durability and ensure construction longevity.

“The metal-clad upper floors hover over a solid stone and masonry base, anchoring each chalet to the ground.”Whitehorse Village website

At Metal Cladding Systems we have been keeping a keen eye on Whitehorse Village. Our Standing Seam profile is a featured part of each chalet’s design. Installed by Specialized Roofing & Cladding, we folded panels for the project in Basalt® and Woodland Grey®, by COLORBOND Steel®. Specialized Roofing & Cladding have kept a progress record on their Instagram feed, and we can’t get enough of their stunning photos.
